Schtung Music specializes in scoring original music and sound design for commercials, promos, show opens, television series, movie trailers, and films. We provide the talent and resources for producers and directors to find the sound to match their vision. We also offer cutting-edge technology in 5.1 surround sound mixing and mastering in addition to DVD voiceover and commentary recording. Schtung now offers an exciting proprietary technology that converts existing mono audio material to 5.1 surround sound.





Located in Santa Monica, with sister studios in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Shanghai, Schtung Music is nestled away in a unique environment, enabling clients to be relaxed, comfortable, creative and productive. We have been in business for 20 years, striving to utilize advances in technology to enhance the creative process and showcase talent. Our client base spans the United States, Europe, and Asia, and we are developing a strong presence in the Hispanic market.

Origins

Schtung was originally a rock and roll band in New Zealand, formed by Andrew Hagen and Morton Wilson, President of Schtung Hong Kong. The band became so well known that theatrical and commercial directors soon asked them to branch out into scoring. And so Schtung Music, an international, full service music and sound design production house was born.
